When Life gets in the way........

and it has *crying*. Something that I have been working so hard to get up and running since September last year just has to wait!


I was looking forward to the official launch on the 1st of march and have been sewing like mad in all my spare time. But...I have had to go back to work :( and this has just stuffed everything completely!!


Between early starts, school drop off and pick up, after school activities everyday of the week and me going back to school 2 nights a week, any spare time I did have has gone on working, homework, study, kids and life in general!


I'm not giving up and there will be a My Bum Couture online store, just not as soon as I had liked. So, sorry for all who have been waiting, but its going to be a little while longer. I will still up date the blog with any sewing projects for the store and anything else that may come up, so please stay tuned.

New Year, New Beginning!

Here we are, New Year and a New Beginning - well for me anyway.

I have some very exciting ideas at the moment, which very soon will be able to make into reality. Have been extremely sidetracked with kiddies being home on school holidays and hubby also being home from work. Who decided now was the time to re-upholster our lounge suite! even though he was more than aware that I really wanted to get sewing. Love him to bits, but drives me absolutely bonkers!!!!

At the moment I have some very lush minky and some funky cotton prints calling out to me to be sewn into some very couture nappies. My poor sewing machine and over locker have been neglected and I cant wait to get sewing. I really do have alot to do, so the store probably wont be up and running till mid to late February - which really is disappointing to me because I wanted it up and running by December.

But no point worrying about what didn't happen and start working on what WILL happen! A boutique online store selling Couture Nappies and Accessories with the occasional one off creations created by me!

So, just an update - have been a tad bit busy - bit will be getting my butt into gear!
